Of Quanta: The Other Part (The Third One)
Some Fridays, I publish a bizarre, fictional story from illogical worlds.
The following story contains explicit language and mature themes. Reader discretion is advised.
In order to bring some justice to my friend Jo Letke (who has been very supportive), I am publishing as this week’s bizarre story the challenge he proposed, even though I wrote it some time ago. It was a challenge I really enjoyed, and who knows, I might continue it in the future.
“We bring you live images from Manhattan, where we are witnessing an unprecedented event,”
Began the journalist. The camera panned to show the streets of Manhattan, where the skyline was dominated by a massive, misty figure towering over the buildings.
“The authorities are powerless, and the city’s superhero team, the Better Angels, are currently on the scene trying to manage the situation. Eyewitnesses report the appearance of a creature out of nowhere, causing widespread panic and confusion.”
